Boss Profile

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 22, 2026

Introduction

Zeros and Ones Pty Ltd (“Zeros and Ones”, "We", "Us", or "Our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy.

This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit the website and Single Page Application (SPA) located at bossprofile.com (collectively, the “Platform”), which enables professionals to profile workplace, management, and decision-making styles. It also outlines our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

By accessing or using bossprofile.com, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use our Platform.

Age Restrictions

bossprofile.com is a workplace tool intended for use by adult professionals aged 18 and over. The Platform does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, including children. Because the Platform has no account creation and does not request or store personal information as part of using the assessment, there is no age-verification mechanism; if we become aware that a user under 18 has provided personal information to us directly (for example, by email), we will delete it.

Information We Collect

1. Information You Provide

bossprofile.com has no account creation, no login, and no free-text fields. The assessment consists of 35 fixed yes/no questions about your boss; there is nowhere on the Platform to enter your name, your boss's name, an email address, or any other personal information. The only information you provide is if you choose to contact us directly (for example, by email) — in which case we keep a record of that correspondence, including whatever contact details and content you include in it, in order to respond.

2. Information Collected Automatically

bossprofile.com does not use cookies, browser LocalStorage, or SessionStorage. We do not maintain login sessions or authenticate users, because there is nothing on the Platform to log in to.

Your Assessment Answers and Results

Your answers to the 35 assessment questions are processed entirely within your own browser. They are never transmitted to, received by, or stored on any server operated by Zeros and Ones Pty Ltd. If you refresh the page mid-assessment, your answers are lost, by design.

When you finish the assessment, a five-character code representing your results is placed in your browser's URL (for example, bossprofile.com/#10110). This lets you refresh the results page or share the link without losing your results. We do not receive, log, or store this code — it exists only in your browser's address bar. Your browser then requests the corresponding results content from our servers, in the same way it requests any other page on the Platform; this request is not linked to any personal information about you.

How We Use Your Information

We do not sell your information to third-party data brokers or advertisers, and we have no personal profiling data to sell — we simply don't collect it.

Disclosure of Your Information

We may disclose aggregated or de-identified information without restriction. Beyond that, we work with a small number of service providers to operate the Platform:

Your Data Rights and Choices

Because we do not collect or store your assessment answers, results, or any personal information as part of your ordinary use of the Platform, there is typically no personal data held about you for us to provide access to, correct, or delete. If you have contacted us directly and want to access, correct, or delete that correspondence, or have any other question about your data rights under your jurisdiction's laws, you can reach us at [email protected].

Data Security & Retention

All connections to the Platform are encrypted in transit. Because your assessment answers and results are never transmitted to or stored by us, there is no assessment data on our servers to secure or retain. If you contact us directly, we retain that correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and comply with our legal obligations.
